PRESS RELEASE

Devensa Advisory Expands Critical Infrastructure and Public-Private Advisory Capabilities with Bryan Langley

Devensa Advisory strengthens its ability to help businesses, public agencies, and critical infrastructure organizations across Florida address cyber, IT/OT, compliance, resilience, and emerging AI challenges.

TALLAHASSEE, FL, September 29, 2026. Devensa Advisory today announced the expansion of its critical infrastructure, cyber, and public-private initiatives with the addition of Bryan Langley as Executive Advisor, Critical Infrastructure. Langley's work spans critical infrastructure cybersecurity, public-private collaboration, and consequence management.

Langley brings extensive experience working across government, industry, critical infrastructure, and community stakeholders to identify risk, understand organizational gaps, and develop practical pathways toward greater resilience and maturity.

His work with Devensa Advisory complements the firm's existing capabilities and strengthens its role as a strategic right arm to businesses and public-sector organizations navigating an increasingly complex environment of cybersecurity, compliance, technology, operational resilience, and artificial intelligence.

Building Practical Pathways for Businesses and Public Organizations

Devensa Advisory's approach is centered on a simple principle: organizations should not have to spend excessive amounts of time, money, or energy trying to understand how to meet increasingly complex requirements.

Through its advisory expertise and growing network of subject-matter specialists, Devensa works to help organizations:

▪ Understand their current state and identify the risks that matter most.

▪ Crosswalk requirements across cybersecurity, privacy, compliance, risk, data and AI.

▪ Close capability gaps through practical, intuitive processes and methodologies.

▪ Improve efficiency by reducing duplication and creating clearer pathways to compliance and resilience.

▪ Strengthen IT/OT resilience across increasingly connected operational environments.

▪ Prepare for AI adoption while addressing the governance, security, risk, and operational considerations that accompany emerging technologies.

▪ Measure progress, creating greater visibility into organizational maturity and consequence management.

“Bryan’s experience adds an important dimension to what Devensa Advisory is building,” said the CEO of Devensa Advisory. “Our objective is not simply to identify problems. It is to help organizations understand what matters, determine what needs to happen next, and connect them with the resources and capabilities necessary to move forward.”

Supporting Florida's Critical Infrastructure Ecosystem

Langley's experience in Florida's critical infrastructure and public-private ecosystem gives Devensa Advisory a deeper understanding of the challenges facing state agencies, local governments, critical infrastructure operators, and businesses of every size.

His previous work through Cyber Florida provided firsthand insight into the needs of Florida's critical infrastructure community, and into the importance of connecting government resources, private-sector capabilities, and trusted partners to address those needs.

That experience also reinforced the value of looking beyond individual cybersecurity issues toward consequence management, operational resilience, and measurable outcomes.

“Cybersecurity is only one part of the equation,” said Langley. “The larger opportunity is helping organizations understand the relationship between people, technology, operations, compliance, and consequence. From there, we can bring the right partners and resources together to help close those gaps in a way that is practical and achievable.”

A Focus on Organizations Across Florida

Organizations across Florida, from small businesses to large public and private operators, face significant requirements. Many lack the time, resources, or specialized personnel to address them on their own.

Devensa Advisory develops simple, intuitive methodologies and resource pathways designed to help organizations understand expectations and take actionable steps toward meeting them.

The effort supports Florida's broader critical infrastructure resilience while creating opportunities to test, refine, and scale approaches that can benefit organizations and communities across the state.

Advancing IT/OT Resilience and AI Readiness

Langley also supports Devensa Advisory's work in IT/OT resilience as well as its cross-domain security, risk, compliance, privacy, data and AI readiness practices.

As organizations increasingly connect information technology, operational technology, data, automation, and artificial intelligence, Devensa Advisory sees an opportunity to help organizations address these areas together rather than through disconnected assessments and compliance exercises.

This includes helping organizations identify where existing capabilities, requirements, technologies, and services overlap, and where crosswalk opportunities can make security, compliance, risk, privacy, data and AI resilience efforts more efficient.

Connecting Capabilities Through Collaboration

Collaboration with technology providers, industry partners, and other stakeholders is central to this work.

Each organization's challenges are connected, so Devensa brings the right expertise and complementary capabilities together around that organization's specific needs.

The work is designed to help organizations move from understanding their gaps to implementing practical solutions that strengthen resilience and protect what matters most.

“Florida has an opportunity to continue serving as a testing ground for innovative approaches to critical infrastructure resilience,” Langley said. “My role with Devensa is to help connect the needs we see across the ecosystem with the capabilities, resources, and partnerships that can make a real difference.”

About Devensa Advisory

Devensa Advisory is one advisory practice across six governance domains: Cybersecurity, AI Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, Privacy, and Data Governance. The firm meets organizations where they are, builds a roadmap designed to function as one system, and works the gaps in the order that fits each organization.

We built Devensa on a simple belief: governance shouldn't be an afterthought. We've seen what happens when it is. Boards go silent. Risks nobody saw coming become problems nobody can explain. Every organization trying to grow responsibly deserves someone who owns that picture, every day, not just when something goes wrong.
